If the AFFL has a founding father, it's Jake. There's a reason his team is called The Godfather, this entire league was his idea. What started with drafts in his basement back in 2003 turned into an eight-year tradition and eventually grew into the 23-year league it is today.

Jake's résumé is every bit as impressive as his legacy. As one of only two four-time league champions, he's spent years proving that his success wasn't just beginner's luck.

You could say football runs in the Thuney family. With a cousin destined for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, greatness seems to be in the DNA. Whether that translates to fantasy football or just makes for good bragging rights is still up for debate.

As the league's original commissioner, founder, and perennial contender, Jake helped build the AFFL into what it is today. Just don't ask him to admit someone else's idea was better.
